Social services supporting integration

We offer support to help you manage your daily life and settle in Helsinki when your own resources or knowledge are insufficient. Additionally, we assist individuals under the age of 23 who arrived in Finland as minors without a guardian.

The social services that support integration are tailored to your specific needs, providing support for you and your family as you settle in Finland. Our aim is to help you develop the skills and confidence to function as independently as possible while actively participating in society.

· We assess your service needs together.

· We develop a plan to assist you in settling in Finland.

· You will receive services based on the plan, such as individual, group, or online meetings with professionals.

We support you in housing, finances, family matters, and daily life management, especially in the early stages of your migration. You can apply for supplementary support to basic social assistance from Kela through us.

We collaborate with other authorities and organisations to ensure that we can provide the services you need.

You can contact us either by phone or by visiting the office of Special Services for Immigrants.
