Hevossalmi beach

The sandy-bottomed Hevossalmi Beach is located in Laajasalo.

The diverse Hevossalmi Beach has both a sandy beach and rocks. The beach is located in the southern part of Laajasalo.

You can check the water quality, temperature and blue-green algae situation of the beach via the ulkoliikunta.fi map service during the summer season. Lifeguards do not supervise the beach during the beach season.

The beach has a dressing room, toilet facilities and a children's playground.

How to get there: There is no parking area close to the beach. However, you can access the beach by public transport.

The route to the outdoor sports area

  • There are no accessible parking spaces near the beach. The nearest parking area is located over 100 m from the place.
  • The pick-up and drop-off area is located over 100 m from the beach.
  • A smooth and sufficiently wide fine crushed rock or sand route leads to the beach. The route is illuminated.
  • There is a steep slope on the passage.

Outdoor sports area

  • There are two entrances to the beach.
  • The beach has an information board, with a rough walkway leading to it. The information board can also be looked at up close. The board has a map of the area.
  • There is no accessible toilet on the beach, but there is a mobile toilet.

Dressing room, shower room and sauna

  • There are dressing rooms with benches on the beach.
