The City of Helsinki supervises the beaches during the swimming season and takes samples of the beach water in accordance with the sampling plan.
Water at Pakila beach gets deeper quickly. The beach has wide lawn areas and a small sandy beach. It is located along River Vantaanjoki, next to Pakila allotments.
You can check the water quality, temperature and blue-green algae situation of the beach via the ulkoliikunta.fi map service during the summer season. Lifeguards do not supervise the beach during the beach season.
The beach has changing, shower and toilet facilities, as well as exercise equipment and basketball and beach volleyball courts.
How to get there: The beach has no parking area.
