Health care and social welfare messages and letters now in digital format

As of 14 April 2026, you will receive messages and letters from the City of Helsinki’s health and social services digitally not only in Maisa, but also in Suomi.fi Messages. Paper mail from authorities will remain an option for everyone.

Located in Sörnäinen, Sörkka Symppis is a low-threshold day activity centre for you if you have substance abuse and mental health problems.

We offer health and social counselling, treatment need assessments, rapid tests and vaccines. We can also replace your used needles with new ones.

You can come to Symppis under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and anonymously.
