Detoxification centre

At the Detoxification Centre, we treat heavily intoxicated persons whose state of health requires monitoring.

Detoxification treatment lasts until the patient is able to take care of themself. After monitoring, the patient goes home or attends further treatment.

The Detoxification Centre employs nurses. You cannot seek treatment on your own. The Police, Prehospital Emergency Care Services or the Emergency Department reserves places.

Detoxification treatment is voluntary. Treatment is intended for people over the age of 16.

  • The route has a steep ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on right side when going up.

  • The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated.
  • The entrance has a steep ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on right side when going up.
  • The doors connected to the entrance are hard to perceive. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door requires the use of a door phone, opening automatically.
  • The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
