We provide peer support groups for children, young people and parents who are customers of child welfare and family social work with guidance by our professionals.

- In parent-led peer support groups, the key objective is to support parenting and child-parent interaction, boost capabilities, and provide peer support for the members of the group.

- In family groups, the aim is, in addition to peer support, to support the child-parent interaction and a smooth everyday life.

- In groups of children and young people, the goal is peer support, strengthening of social skills, functional capacity, identifying emotions, and independent activities.

In children's groups, we process things through play. Functionality is the focus in the groups for young people, while in the parents' group, we hold active discussions.

The service is intended for customers of child welfare and family social work. If you are interested in participating in groups, please talk about it to your social worker.

Peer support groups are held in different parts of Helsinki. You can get information on peer support groups with professional guidance from your social worker.
