Making an appointment with a child welfare supervisor

Child welfare supervisors assist parents in negotiating agreements concerning child custody, residence, visitation rights, child support, and validating enforceable documents on matters agreed upon by the parents. The agreements can only be validated if the parents unanimously agree on the content of the agreements and the child’s best interests are met. In addition, the child welfare supervisor is responsible for determining parentage for children born outside of marriage if it has not been established at a maternity health clinic before the child’s birth.

You can make an appointment with a child welfare supervisor through our callback service Monday through Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 by leaving a callback request.

Prepare for your visit

If your case concerns agreements on custody, residence, visitation rights and child support, the parties to the agreement will be the parents. For this reason, both parents will be scheduled a joint appointment, and the negotiations will take place in the presence of both parents. For your initial agreements, you can first book an appointment for a telephone consultation with us, where we will assess your situation and give you information about the agreements that the child welfare supervisor can draw up.
