Health care services for undocumented individuals

As an undocumented individual, you are entitled to necessary health care, just like residents of Helsinki.

Adults without legal status are entitled to urgent health care. We offer the same health care services to undocumented individuals under 18 years old and to pregnant undocumented individuals as we do for residents of Helsinki.

Nurse and doctor consultations, as well as maternity clinic services, are free of charge. Dental care and emergency visits are subject to fees.

If you need health care services, please contact Kalasatama Health and Well-being Centre at Työpajankatu 14 A. You do not need a Kela card. Ask the janitors or receptionists for assistance.

In the evening, night, and on public holidays, emergency departments at hospitals are available. Before visiting an emergency department, call the free Medical Helpline at 116 117 for advice on sudden health problems.
