What is it like to live in Koskela Group Home?
The apartments of our group home are on the first floor in a building fitted with a lift. Each apartment is equipped with a private kitchen area and a bathroom. You have the freedom to furnish your apartment according to your preferences and personal style.
We offer a variety of meal options for our residents throughout the day, served in our communal kitchen. However, you can also choose to dine in the comfort of your own apartment. Laundry facilities are conveniently located on the ground floor of the building, along with staff facilities.
Our group home instructors provide assistance and guidance with tasks such as cleaning, laundry, personal hygiene, medical care, and running errands outside the home. In the shared kitchen area, we offer a range of meals, including breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee, dinner, and an evening snack. Nevertheless, you have the flexibility to enjoy all or some of your meals in your own apartment.
We also take great care in helping you plan and make the most of your leisure time. On weekends, residents have the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities, and we regularly organise excursions to theatres, restaurants, concerts, sporting events, and various other cultural and recreational outings.
