At Solina Group Home, our workers will help and guide you and support your daily activities. Our staff are present around the clock.
Our operations focus on evenings and weekends, as the majority of our residents work at work or day activity centres on weekdays.
Our workers will collaborate closely with your different networks, such as your loved ones, social and health care operators and day activity providers.
All of our residents have a private room with a toilet and bathroom.

What is living at Solina Group Home like?
All of our residents have a private room with a toilet and bathroom. You can decorate your room with your own belongings and furniture.
We share three different dining areas, a living room and sauna facilities. We also have access to a spacious balcony with a roof, where we can enjoy coffee and activities in summer.
Our workers will help and guide you and support your daily activities. They will also help and guide you in planning your leisure time and maintaining your social relationships.
What is our everyday life like?
Our aim will be for you to be able to live as rich an everyday life as possible at Solina.
The majority of our residents work at work or day activity centres on weekdays, so our operations focus on evenings and weekends. At weekends, we enjoy outdoor activities, play music and play games together. We heat the sauna of Fridays.
We have meals in the shared facilities every day at Solina. The meals include breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper.
Staff
The staff of our group home consists of 12 workers in care and instruction duties, and a unit manager.

The route to the main entrance
- The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
- The route to the entrance is smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.
- The route has a ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on one side.

- The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens easily manually.
In the facility
- The customer service point is located on floor 2.
- For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift cannot be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
