Mörssärinaukio Group Home, or Mörssäri for short, has nine places for residents. Our group home serves persons who have developmental disabilities and are on the autism spectrum.
All of our residents have their own studio apartment and access to versatile group facilities.
Our robust housing support at Mörssäri consists of autism rehabilitation, using means of communication that support speech, learning everyday life management and individualised rehabilitation.
Our staff are present around the clock.

What is everyday life like with us?
With us, you will be living in your own apartment, which you can decorate together with your loved ones and our staff. Our apartments are 26-m2 studio apartments with a toilet and a shower.
You will also have access to our shared facilities, which are a group space, dining facilities and sauna facilities. We do laundry in a shared laundry room.
You can choose whether you want to eat in your own apartment or with the other residents of the group home. We serve breakfast, lunch, a snack, dinner and supper at the group home.
We spend time together at Mörssäri. We heat the sauna once a week, bake, listen to music and occasionally go to a restaurant or a café.
Mörssäri has a pleasant yard where we hang out together. We play yard games, in autumn and spring we hold yard work bees, and in winter we make snow lanterns and such. And in summer we barbecue, of course! At Mörssäri, you can do things you like.
Staff
We have 15 workers, and our staff consists of social services specialists, practical nurses and a registered nurse.
Our staff are present around the clock. On weekdays, three workers work the morning shift and five workers work the evening shift.
Our weekend staffing varies depending on how many clients are present at the group home. We always have one worker working the night shift.
